School Pool helps families solve one of the major
transportation problems, getting their children to and from school. We provide a voluntary alternative to driving children to and from school every
day, helping families save time and money. It can provide a transportation
alternative for after school activities and reduce traffic congestion around the
school's pick-up and drop-off areas resulting in a safer environment for all
students.
School Pool also offers an
opportunity to identify other parents or guardians to call on when facing car or
other last minute problems. It also helps to teach children a lesson on saving
our environment by helping to improve air quality.
Here’s how the SchoolPool program
works.
A school agrees to
participate in the Middle Peninsula SchoolPool program. Parents and guardians
are asked to provide information for each child they want to enroll. Information
includes home address, phone number(s) and grade level. Parents and guardians
who register receive a "matchlist" for each child with the names of
other students from their neighborhood who travel to the same school. It’s up to the parents and guardians to make whatever arrangements they
prefer. There is no charge for this
service.
To register:
If your school is listed below just
click on the school name and you will automatically be taken to the online
registration form or you may call 877-451-1555 or 758-4847. If your school is

contact your school to inform them of the benefits of this program.
